Purpose

PTC will provide an entry level of knowledge including educational and clinical experiences that are current with medical practices standards for entry level Medical Assistants, Pharmacy Technicians, Sterile Processors, and Phlebotomy demonstrated for students who will be providing Medical Assistant, Pharmacy Technician, Sterile Processors, and Phlebotomy services to our community in various healthcare settings. Medical Assistant, Pharmacy Technicians, Sterile Processors, and Phlebotomy students will meet core competencies focused on professional development, safe and ethical practices with the individual responsibility of continuing education . Medical Assistants, Pharmacy Technicians, Sterile Processors, and Phlebotomist have moral and ethical standards to serve their patients, as well as their community. Their continuing education will emphasize delivering excellent care, exemplifying professionalism in all that is done, showing respect and dignity to our community while helping them live a high quality of life.
