Admission Requirements

Registration takes place on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday during the hours of 11 am to 2 pm or by calling to arrange an appointment.

Applicants will receive a catalog initially. The enrollment agreement and an admission application must be completed on site with full payment or with one of the payment plans. Payments are due based on the type of payment plan chosen.

·         Submit an application

·         You must be 17 years old

·         Copy of a state issued driver’s license or identification card

·         Social Security Card

·         Submit proof of high school diploma or GED

·         Proof of Health Insurance

·         A complete Medical Exam/ Immunization Record (Chicken Pox, Hep. B,MMR)

·         A two-step TB skin test (PPD) and/or Chest X-ray (if positive result) Influenza (required between October 1-March 31) COVID vaccine

 (Most or all clinical sites are requiring before you can come into their site(s) or signed declination waiver resulting in wearing a mask for the duration of program (is not a guarantee you will be able to attend a clinical rotation)

·         CPR Certification American Heart Association (AHA)

·         Background check and drug screen

Students must be able to:

Perform motor skills safely

Lifting, positioning, and transporting patients

Moving efficiently enough to meet the needs of several patients in a timely manner, and

Lifting or moving obese, paralyzed patients.

Perform manual dexterity

Operating equipment and devices such as thermometers, blood pressure devices, and glucometer devices

Perform accurate and effective interpretation and communication of   information in English, both written and spoken

Responding to a physician’s order and recording information

Communicating with patients and families
